Who we are

energyXperts.NET is an internationally active network of consultants and engineers working in the fields of thermo-energetical systems and renewable energies for heat, cold and electricity supply.

The energyXperts team has a wide experience in both national and international projects, covering several types of activities: consultancy, plant design, system simulation, installation and monitoring and training.

energyXperts are:

Hans Schweiger

Hans Schweiger

Ph. D. in Physics

Director energyXperts.BCN

Main working fields:

Energy efficiency in thermal systems for industry and other large scale applications

Dynamic system simulation

Solar thermal energy

hans.schweiger@energyxperts.net

He has seventeen years of experience in the field of thermo-energetical systems and renewable energies: activity in the field of solar thermal energy at Politechnical University of Catalonia (UPC, Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain). from 1991 to 1999; foundation and activity within the engineering cooperative Aiguasol in Barcelona, active in the field of solar thermal energy, from 1999 to 2005; since then foundation and activity in energyXperts.BCN. He has experience in planning, execution and maintenance of medium and large scale solar thermal plants and in industrial energy efficiency.

He collaborated in several national and international research projects in the fields of energy efficiency, solar thermal energy and numerical methods for heat transfer and fluid dynamics; among them, he was project co-ordinator of the EU-Research project POSHIP on solar industrial process heat. Furthermore he teaches in master and postgraduate courses on solar thermal energy, and is Spanish participant in Task 25 (Solar Assisted Air Conditioning in Buildings) and in Task 33 (Solar Heat for Industrial Processes) of the Solar Heating and Cooling and SolarPACES Programmes of the International Energy Agency (IEA)

Claudia Vannoni

Ph. D. in Energy and Environmental Technologies for Sustainable Development

Main working fields:

Solar thermal energy

Industrial processes and industrial heat supply

claudia.vannoni@energyxperts.net

She graduated in Industrial Engineering and then she attended a Masters Course on Energy Management. She worked at the Institute for Systems Integration Studies (ISIS, Rome, Italy) as PM assistant and key staff member in several EC co-financed Projects on Energy and Environment. She had also been collaborating with ISES ITALIA (the Italian section of the International Solar energy Society).

Until 2009 she collaborated with the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (DMA) and with the Interuniversitary Research Center for Sustainable Development (CIRPS) of the University of Rome "Sapienza" (Italy) in the field of solar thermal systems at low and medium temperature with a special focus on industrial applications. At DMA she was responsible for the IEE EINSTEIN project (2007 – 2009) execution and at CIRPS she coordinated the Solar Energy Unit (UES).

Collaboration with other Companies and Institutes

energyXperts furthermore maintains a straight collaboration and can offer services with the support of the specific know-how of the following companies and research institutes:

AEE Intec

AEE INTEC, Gleisdorf (Graz), Austria

The AEE Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE INTEC) is located in Gleisdorf and is active in the development of scientific and technical basics for solar thermal applications, with the development of efficient energy supply systems for buildings as well as the development of sustainable technologies for water supply and sewage disposal. The pillars of these topics are the work on prototype development and the implementation of pilot projects. The institute provides beyond this their know-how and carries out planning and consultation.
